Sweet Meets Spicy: Hot Sauce Packaging
BACKGROUND
Tree-Ripe Fruit wanted to introduce a hot sauce that felt connected to their existing product line while standing apart as something special. The goal was to create a label that referenced the familiar look and feel of their other packaging, while giving the peach and habanero hot sauce its own distinctive personality.

A Fresh Take on a Familiar Visual Language
A custom type treatment gives the hot sauce name a distinctive personality while reinforcing its handcrafted, specialty feel. A variation of Tree-Ripe Fruit’s signature illustration style references the visual language of their existing products while introducing a fresh interpretation unique to the hot sauce. A warm, fiery color palette brings the design together, drawing from the rich tones of ripe peaches and habanero peppers and visually communicating the sauce’s balance of sweet heat.
